Telehealth Public Policies in Latin-American |

Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Mexico and Colombia are together to promote the "Telehealth Public Policies in Latin-American" TPP-LA. This is an initiative supported by the BID (International Bank of Developed) proposed by the Medicine College from UFMG, Brazilian Ministry of Health, RNP-Ruth, Belo Horizonte City Departament of Health, CLARA, CENTEC, Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador, CEDIA, and FUNDATEL Ministry of Protection Social in Colombia.
The goal of this project is to build an organization to the rules and regulations for the implementation of national policies of telehealth in Latin America. Thus the experiences of structuring national networks will become more accessible and as a result to promote the development of technological structures to be able to connect different units of health at a reasonable price.
All Latin American countries will benefit from the TPP-LA:
-- Added value in technical and scientific relations of health AL.
-- Use and dissemination of new technologies
-- Maintenance and expansion of knowledge and practice - Updates, tools and solutions for the public and private sector in the area of ICT applied their health.
-- Stimuli innovation, internationalization and articulation integrated systems of telehealth national, state and municipal.
-- Implementation and consolidation of partnerships between universities in Telehealth networkd in Latin America Networks and governments.
