Over recent decades the technology is presenting many advances and bringing important contributions to projects in the area of health, which are multiplying and promoting the prospects of sharing knowledge and best qualification of the assistance.
The World Health Organization (WHO), believes that in the twenty-first century the main expectation on the collective health is achieved through improving access to the resources of larger and better-quality-available in the area of health, for most of world population. Regarding the incorporation of technology, the WHO also manifests itself, recommending that its members use is the telematics as a political and strategic in planning and implementation of actions on health.

There are many initiatives that have the support of financial institutions and governments in most developed countries. In contrast, in developing countries the investments made in the area of health, in general, are still clearly inadequate. Advances in the field of technology of information and communication can provide new ways of transmission of knowledge and in health care, helping these nations in improving health care and contributing to the decrease in rates of mortality and morbidity.
This way, developed countries have helped those who are in development, with regard to access to new technologies and the exchange of successful experiences, enabling greater equity in the dissemination of knowledge produced.
In Brazil and other Latin American countries, initiatives such as those encouraged and financed by the line @ LIS European Union, local governments, universities and other institutions, are being tried by triggering important processes for the construction of public policies and systematization of knowledge in the area of training and information on health.
